Essential reading:
The 29th edition of KICKBACK is taking place this Sunday at the Sammy Miller Moto Museum, which is renowned for its extensive collection of fully restored motorcycles from various eras and styles.
The KICKBACK event is an exciting gathering for motorcycle enthusiasts, showcasing a blend of classic and customised motorcycles, as well as offering various galleries, a small vendor section and refreshments.
Key Highlights of the Event:
Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum Collection:
The museum houses over 500 meticulously restored motorcycles, including vintage café racers, rare factory racers, exotic prototypes, and unique custom builds.
All but 5 of the motorcycles are in perfect working order, making it one of the finest collections in the world. As noted humorously by Sammy Miller, "and one of those is made of wood!"
Live Motorcycle Demonstration:
One of the highlights will be Sammy Miller himself starting up and parading a very special bike. The most popular bikes in the museum are regularly fired up, allowing attendees to experience the roar and power of these classic machines.
Galleries and Exhibits Inside the Museum:
The Off-Road Gallery: Featuring a collection of off-road bikes.
The Norton Hall: Dedicated to the iconic Norton brand.
The Racing Gallery: Showcasing legendary racing motorcycles.
The Vincent Hall: Celebrating the Vincent motorcycle heritage.
The Trophy Room: Displaying a collection of trophies and memorabilia.
The Japanese Hall: Highlighting classic and rare Japanese motorcycles.
The European Hall: Featuring bikes from various European manufacturers.
Upper Gallery: An additional area with more motorcycles and exhibits.
Outdoor Showcases:
Outside the museum, over 150 customised motorcycles will be on display in the main courtyard and parade areas, adding a unique flair to the event.
Vendor Section and Autojumble:
A small vendor section will feature motorcycle-related goods and memorabilia. A small autojumble will offer parts and accessories for sale, perfect for enthusiasts looking to buy or trade.
Food and Refreshments:
There will be a café, ice cream, cakes, coffee, and gift shops available on-site for attendees to enjoy. The nearby pub, The Plough Inn, is just a three-minute drive away.

Free Parking is available.
